You have to have one also to use the RMAH in Diablo 3 for buying or selling. Get one if you play WoW, D3 or Starcraft.  Battle.net Authenticator - Easy and comfortable use, 21 Sep 2012 = Fun: This review is from: Battle.Net Authenticator (PC CD) (CD-ROM) After a successful attack at my battle.net account, i got really scared to lose all my stuff to those annoying hackers. I know that Blizzard is excellent in his treatment to the players but after a long process ( a few days ) at trying to recover my account e thought i needed something more to protect my data. Blizzard keeps advertising the authenticator in all their sites and even inside the battle.net itself. "Probably is something good right?" - i thought... "Well, let's give it a try." Order it and since then i'm completely satisfied with this product. Like the tittle says it's very easy and comfortable to use, you just need to press the button and the device gives you a 6 number code that you enter in your blizzard games just after logging in. 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful  Too expensive and only lasted me a month., 10 July 2012 This review is from: Battle.Net Authenticator (PC CD) (CD-ROM) I bought this product a month ago, and to begin with I was pleased that I had a working authenticator. But now, I just went to log onto World of Warcraft and type in my authenticator number, but nothing popped up on the screen. It's attached to my keys, which are in my school bag a lot of the time, but there's no damage at all on the outside. Unfortunately authenticators are not battery replaceable which isn't helpful at all. I now plan on buying an authenticator from the Blizzard site, hoping that maybe it might work this time. I'm just not very impressed by how little this product has lasted me considering that it costed me �10. Just an update! Because I keep getting replies to this comment, you don't need to reply to me anymore!! I got a new Authenticator from the Battle.net website ages ago! And it works fine!
