Some people are going to love this game, while others are going to hate it. CHARACTER CREATORS: 4/5 Needless to say, the graphics in this game are gorgeous. Even on low settings, the game looks amazing. The races themselves are also quite stylized. Most races have a wide variety of hairstyles, hair colors, faces, and skin colors. However, character creation can get a little confusing when you get to the "face" and "adornment" options. The "face" option allows you to select the overall facial structure of your character (baby-faced, weathered, etc.). Each face has its own specific adornments. The "adornments" option shows you more pre-made faces, which further defines the look of your character (green eyes and a scar, blue eyes and dark eye shadow, etc.). I have played it probably a total of 2 days since getting it. I then had an error which stops me being able to play 'Error: 0104:0000 - game time exhausted'- even tho i have 3 weeks atleast left of game time. Many others are also experiencing this error. I logged this error a week ago and so far nothing has been done about it.When I look at the game forums about it I am horrified at what others have experienced with customer service also. I am starting to think even if they fix this problem and properly compensate me I will not wish to play this game as it has left a bad feeling with me. If this was any other kind of product I would have returned it already and got a refund. I know this is probably not something I can do with an online game that I have used the code from but I am definitely going to look into what my rights are regarding this as it is totaly out of order to buy a game and not be able... Read more 6 of 11 people found the following review helpful Fantastic combat and interesting design, = Fun:  Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: TERA (PC DVD) (DVD-ROM) I picked this game up on a wim after I decided to pack World of Warcraft in for good. After see the some videos are the combat mechanics it looks fantastic, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. The games combat system is a lot more action oriantated, and is extremely fun and fairly easy to use, yet it takes time to master it. Having to put your faith in your own skills as a player rather than in preset stats, gives you a much bigger feeling of satisfaction when you defeat something like a boss and don't take damage.The games aesthetic is extremely colourful and is very beautiful thanks to the use of teh unreal 3 engine, it emerses you a lot more into teh world than other mmorpg games I've played (with the possible exception of guild wars) and gives a great feeling of size to the land.
